Itinerary
Day 1, Journeying towards the Ocean
The journey begins with a flight from Rome to Zanzibar, crossing skies and continents to reach the Spice Island. A wait that anticipates the adventure ahead and prepares you for the encounter with a far-off and fascinating land. Overnight on board.
Day 2, Welcome to Zanzibar
Upon arrival in Zanzibar, a private transfer will take you to your hotel in Stone Town, the historical and cultural heart of the island. After checking in, you will have time to relax and settle in, letting the Swahili atmosphere embrace you. The day concludes with dinner in town, perfect for a first taste of local flavors. Overnight in hotel.
Day 3, Stone Town, History and Spices
After breakfast at the hotel, the morning begins with a guided tour of Stone Town: a journey through labyrinthine alleys, carved wooden doors, markets, and palaces that tell the story of centuries of cultural exchange between Africa, Arabia, and Europe. The rest of the day is yours to enjoy Zanzibar at your own pace. After dinner in the city center, return to the hotel for the night. Overnight in hotel.
Day 4, Heading North: Sea and Relaxation
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before heading to Kendwa via private transfer. Located on the northern tip of the island, Kendwa is famous for its white sandy beaches and crystal-clear waters. Spend a relaxing day on the beach, swimming in the ocean and enjoying moments of peace. Return to your hotel with your private transfer. Overnight in hotel.
Day 5, Prison Island and Nakupenda
After breakfast at the hotel, take a private transfer to the harbor for a boat departure to Prison Island and Nakupenda Beach for a guided tour of the area. You will meet the famous giant tortoises, go snorkeling in transparent waters, and enjoy some time on the iconic white sandbank of Nakupenda. In the evening, return to Zanzibar. Overnight in hotel.
Day 6, Zanzibar at your own pace
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel and experience the island on your own terms—the most important thing is to relax. Overnight in hotel.
Day 7, Jozani Forest and Tropical Nature
After breakfast at the hotel, set out for a guided visit to Jozani Forest, the island's most famous natural area, home to the rare red colobus monkeys and lush tropical vegetation. The rest of the day is yours: enjoy your final hours in Zanzibar. Overnight in hotel.
Day 8, Farewell Zanzibar
After your final breakfast at the hotel, take a private transfer to the airport for your return flight. Head home with the blue of the ocean in your eyes, intoxicated by the scent of spices, and with the slow rhythm of Zanzibar in your heart.
